About the opportunity
As Astrafy continues to grow, we are looking for a Senior Solution Engineer to help shape and scale our technical pre-sales function.
Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will act as the bridge between Sales, Customers, Google Cloud, and our Delivery teams. You will lead technical discovery sessions, design solution approaches and architectures, support proposals, and help customers navigate their AI, Data, Cloud, and Analytics initiatives.
This is a highly visible role with significant impact on Astrafy's growth strategy. Beyond supporting opportunities, you will help define how we engage customers, develop pre-sales best practices, and strengthen our collaboration with Google Cloud.
While customer-facing activities will represent the majority of your time, we expect you to remain hands-on and contribute to selected projects, internal accelerators, and customer initiatives to stay close to the technology.
Our preference is for candidates based in Madrid, who can work from our office around two days per week but we are also happy to consider outstanding remote candidates based elsewhere in Spain who can travel to Madrid regularly to collaborate with the team and participate in customer and internal meetings.
ResponsabilitiesLead Technical Discovery & Opportunity Shaping
- Partner with the Sales team to qualify and shape new opportunities.
- Lead discovery sessions to understand customer business challenges, technical requirements, and strategic objectives.
- Translate customer needs into clear Cloud, Data and AI solutions.
- Turn customer pain points into expansion opportunities beyond the initial use case
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the early stages of the customer journey.
- Serve as Astrafy's primary technical counterpart during the sales cycle.
- Support project scoping, effort estimation, risk assessment, and proposal creation.
- Design the solution architecture together with the input of internal tech leads.
- Present technical recommendations and solution approaches to both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Project Management team to ensure a smooth hand-over
- Help continuously improve and scale Astrafy's pre-sales methodology, assets, and best practices.
- Uncover upselling and cross-selling opportunities by stayign close the customer
- Deliver webinars, technical talks, and partner-led events.
- Build strong relationships with Google Cloud teams and support joint go-to-market initiatives.
- Act as a visible ambassador for Astrafy's AI and Data capabilities.
- Dedicate a portion of your time (approximately 20%) to technical initiatives, POCs, internal solutions, or selected customer projects.
- Stay current with emerging AI, cloud, and data technologies.
- Share knowledge and best practices across the organization.
