As a Technical Business Analyst, you will act as the primary liaison responsible for ensuring that all service requests are meticulously assessed, qualified, governed, and aligned with the client’s cloud platforms, packaged services, and organizational standards before they enter the delivery pipeline. You will be instrumental in guiding the client teams through their cloud adoption journey by identifying the most appropriate service offerings, conducting comprehensive technical and cost assessments, evaluating operational maturity, and ensuring readiness for successful onboarding and delivery.
Key Focus Areas:
- Demand Intake & Qualification: Acting as the initial point of contact, you will facilitate discovery sessions to capture business objectives and technical requirements, ensuring all demands meet enterprise governance and security standards.
- Service Advisory & Solution Guidance: You will consult with client teams to recommend standardized service offerings, promote the use of reusable patterns, and steer teams toward self-service capabilities via the Internal Developer Portal.
- Technical & Cost Analysis: Collaborating with platform and architecture teams, you will perform feasibility studies, assess solution complexity, and produce high-level cost estimates to guide investment decisions.
- Maturity Assessment & Onboarding: You will evaluate the operational maturity of client teams—including their DevOps practices, security posture, and CI/CD capabilities—to create tailored adoption roadmaps and ensure smooth service activation.
- Governance & Stakeholder Management: You will prepare demands for Cloud Council review, act as the central point of communication across business and technical stakeholders, and ensure governance decisions are documented and communicated effectively.
- Process Improvement: By analyzing demand management metrics and client feedback, you will continuously identify bottlenecks and champion improvements to the demand-to-delivery process, driving automation and reducing lead times for service consumption.
